Ann Waller, Rivery City Prosthetics and Orthotics OA, Sacramento

Ann Waller

Office Administrator

Ann was introduced to the field of prosthetics and orthotics at an early age by her father, whom was both an amputee and co-owner of a family-run prosthetic and orthotic clinic in Stockton, CA. Growing up in the family business, Ann developed a strong sense of empathy for those dealing with the challenges of limb loss. She began working in the field as a technician learning how to mold and build prosthetic limbs. While she enjoyed this work, Ann missed personal interactions with patients and soon made a transition to her father's front office where she learned all aspects of the referral, billing, and reimbursement systems. She loved getting to know patients and their families. When her father retired, Ann returned to patient care and trained as a mastectomy fitter; however, she eventually returned to office administration, overseeing day to day operations in eight patient care centers in and around the Sacramento area for seven years. Now working for River City Prosthetics & Orthotics, Ann again enjoys her direct interaction with patients and their families. In her spare time, Ann enjoys entertaining family and friends at her home.
